browlift
WHAT IS IT?
Over time the eyebrows can droop, causing a tired or angry appearance. A browlift is used to gently lift the eyebrows back into their natural position. This can help to open the eyes and make you look younger, happier, and more rested while staying away from the “surprised” look. There are different types of brow lifts; the procedure that is ideal for you is determined by your anatomy and what area of your brows needs a lift.
TYPES OF BROW LIFTS
ENDOSCOPIC BROW LIFT
This procedure is ideal for patients who have drooping of their entire eyebrows. In this procedure 4 small incisions (about 1 inch) are hidden in the hairline. This allows the brows to be lifted, including the crow’s feet area around the eyes. Wrinkles between the brows (frown lines) can also be improved.
TEMPORAL BROW LIFT
This is used when the outside of the eyebrows have drooped. There are two small incisions, hidden in the hairline, that allow the outside of the eyebrow to be lifted back into its natural position.
PROCEDURE
Both types of browlift are performed with IV sedation and local anesthesia. They both take approximately 2 hours.
