WHAT IS IT?
Over time the upper lip can droop and lose volume. A lip lift is utilized to increase the visible amount of the lips and it can be an excellent permanent alternative to lip filler.
TYPES OF INCISIONS
The incision is placed at the base of the nose and is generally well hidden.
PROCEDURE
A tiny incision is made at the base of the nose, lifting the lip upward to restore its previous position. This procedure may also improve the voluminous appearance of thinning lips.
HEALING
Suggested time off work: 3 days
Walking: Walking is started on the same day as surgery
Exercise: Light exercise can be started 7 days after surgery
Other: Tightness may be felt in the upper lip for 2 weeks after the procedure
