OVERVIEW

The RN role is in charge of treating patients in regard to their skin care, neuromodulators, fillers, and laser resurfacing. Making the patients feel comfortable is of the utmost importance, along with educating them about the products and procedures that you are recommending. This way, you can develop a collaborative treatment plan that everyone understands and benefits from. If there is a procedure that the patient would benefit from that you do not perform, it is your responsibility to refer them to the proper practitioner.

SCOPE

This is a profit-sharing position that reports directly to the Practice Director.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Check email & Trello, as applicable, at the beginning and end of each shift
  • Check patients in and out, create invoices, and take payment for their services
    • Contact patients who haven’t been seen in 2 or more months
      • Reach out with a reminder text first
      • Reach out with an offer if no traction within 1 week
  • Keep the space clean
    • Turn over rooms as soon as patients leave, change out linens, put out gowns, and clean counters if necessary
    • Keep clean towels and gowns stocked
  • Know all office promotions
    • Make sure to ask patients at check-out how they are doing with their skin care products
    • Educate our patients on our referral program
  • Participate in community events, as applicable
  • Execute side-work tasks or ongoing projects during downtime

JOB SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to)

  • Consult and educate patients regarding potential procedures
  • Perform procedures within current treatment standards
  • Address patient concerns post-procedure
  • Keep up on the newest evolutions of treatments and products
  • Conduct an inventory of required service materials and ensure adequate stock
    • Ensure FIFO is executed for all materials and supplies
    • Notify Patient Coordinator or Practice Manager if we are running low on a product or if we need to expand our product line
  • Refer patients to the Surgeon if requested, or if the RN believes that non-surgical options are no longer working

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Education:
    • Completion of BSN degree and current licensing
    • Completed training in Esthetics injection
  • Experience:
    • At least 2 years as an Esthetics injector with good reviews from both patients and supervising physicians
